DeSS Bi-Weekly Tournament #1

Hey Everybody!

This post is to announce a bi-weekly tournament we will be putting on for members of the Dalhousie eSports Society.

This tournament will be carried out online, with the exception of the finals which will take place live at our weekly meeting. Each player will be expected to contact their opponent, preferably via facebook, to schedule a time when their match can be played. A good way to do this would be to message your opponent as soon as the brackets are updated and suggest a good time for yourself and then 1 or 2 alternate times you will be able to play in the next couple of days.

Each round of the tournament will have a date by which all games must be played. To keep the tournament moving smoothly if a player does not show up for an agreed upon match, his opponent gets an automatic win. Please keep documentation of match agreements in the case of a dispute. If both players fail to agree on a match time and/or don't show up for their match, a winner will be chosen at random.

Some format considerations will be finalized once we see how many players we get. The brackets for the first tournament will be released on Monday, Oct. 11. <--- Edit.
